When going on a cruise, one of your main concerns are obviously going to be the food, and whats good.

That's why at first, I was nervous to try 'El Loco Fresh'. I absolutely adored the onboard buffet and restaurants, so I figured I din't really need to try it.I was never a super fan of Mexican food, anyways. Sure, it was good, but I wouldn't choose it over the other dining options.

Until on the fourth day of our 7-day cruise, we decided to stop their for lunch. It was an easy stop, because onboard Symphony of the Seas, it was on an upper deck, with open entrances from the front and back of the restaurants, so you were technically outside in the nice, warm air. Then, facing the ocean are high glass walls.

We walked in and barely had to wait. You sat yourself, and it was a really chill, Mexican style buffet. Now remember, at this point, I wasn't a huge fan of Mexican food. But let me tell you, when I entered that buffet line, I was amazing.

Obviously you had your classic stereotypical Mexican food options, like tacos and quesadillas, but they ALSO offered many more. Such as nachos,and you could chose your own toppings! Now, I know what you're thinking, "Those are all basic Mexican food items, silly". And yes, I know, I know. But then I got to the one section, and it had quesadillas with ONLY cheese. Now I am obsessed with these. They are absolutely AMAZING. So, I obviously picked one up. I then grabbed some salsa from the outstanding topping section and headed to the dessert table. They had a few options, but something that stood out to me was the one cup with a type of thick, not wet or cold type of ice-cream With chocolate sauce on the bottom and a white chocolate topping.

With all of these items, I sat down with the rest of my family. We were seated near the back, in front of the basketball courts and close to the flowrider, so there were tons to do around this location.

All in all, this meal was awesome, and I would 100% recommend making at least one stop at 'El Loco Fresh' on your Royal Caribbean cruise. The setting is perfect, the aesthetic of the buffet,the colour scheme, and the quality of the food really make 'El Loco Fresh' stand out.

'El Loco Fresh' is available on the following ships;

- Symphony of the Seas

- Navigator of the Seas
